Rhododendrons in Penn’s Woods

The Conference will feature a spectacular plant sale of an extensive collection of rhododendron and azalea plants hybridized and grown in Pennsylvania. Many of the varieties are hard to find and are not available from other sources. A list of rhododendrons propagated for the plant sale will be published on this page prior to the conference. Companion plants will also be offered. Rhododendrons and azaleas are being rooted by the host ARS chapters.

We thank the many individuals, who have donated cuttings for propagation, gathered these materials from various gardens, helped to strike them for rooting and repotted them.  We also thank Steve Kristoph and his nursery staff for providing the facilities and materials for this undertaking.

Live Auction

The conference committee has planned a live auction at Saturday’s Banquet. Several items will be offered including a rare plant or two.
